The Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship Programme 2025–26 has been launched to support aspiring doing dental professionals who face financial challenges during their Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) education. This initiative is part of Haleon India’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mission developed in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association (IDA) and Buddy4Study. The aim is to ensure that deserving first-year BDS students from government or government-aided institutions do not have to compromise their education due to financial limitations. Under this scholarship, selected students will receive rs 2,00,000, distributed as rs 50,000 per year for four years. The financial assistance can be used for expenses such as tuition fees, accommodation, learning materials, internet and other essential academic needs.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Conditions)

Students applying for the Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship Programme must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Candidate Must be enrolled in the first year of the BDS program.
2. Candidate should have Admission in a government or government-aided dental college on a government seat.
3. Minimum 60% marks in the previous class or semester.
4. Annual family income must not exceed ₹8,00,000, supported by valid income documents not older than two years.
5. Applicants must not be receiving any other scholarship at the time of applying.
6. Children of employees of Haleon, Buddy4Study, or Give Grants are not eligible.
7. Selected scholars must maintain 60% marks each year to continue receiving benefits in subsequent years.

What Financial Support Is Offered?

The scholarship offers financial coverage that helps reduce the burden of academic expenses during the four-year BDS program.

Documents Required

Applicants need to upload verified documents during the online application process:

1. Candidates Recent passport-sized photograph
2. Previous academic year or semester marksheet of candidate.
3. Government-issued ID including PAN, Voter ID, or Driving License)
4. Current admission proof Fee Receipt, Admission Letter, ID card or Bonafide Certificate
5. Family income proof Income Certificate, EWS Certificate, or latest ITR
6. Bank account details of the student or parent/guardian

1. Go to Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship page and click on Apply Online.
2. Log in using your registered email, mobile number, or Google account.
3. Click on ‘Start Application’ to begin filling in your personal, academic, and financial details – Upload all mandatory documents in the required format.
4. Submit the form after ensuring all details are accurate.

1. Can students from private dental colleges apply for the scholarship?
No. Only students studying in government or government-aided colleges on a government seat are eligible.

2. Is the scholarship renewable every year?
Yes. Selected students will receive ₹50,000 every year for four years, provided they maintain at least 60% marks annually.
